Uniform sealers
A uniform machine is set for one case size with hand-wheels. It is simple, fast and inexpensive — ideal when you run batches of the same case.
Random sealers
A random machine senses each case and adjusts itself. Throughput is lower, but there is no changeover and no operator adjustment.
Operator or automatic flap folding
Semi-automatic machines need someone to close the flaps. Automatic flap folders free that person entirely.
Other points
Check the minimum and maximum case size, tape width, whether you need bottom sealing only, and how the machine links to your conveyors.
