Random-Size Automatic Carton Sealer
How it works

Built around your product

Sensors measure each incoming case and pneumatics set width and height before sealing. Mixed case sizes can arrive in any order, which suits fulfilment centres and multi-SKU packing.

Side or top-and-bottom belts drive the case through fixed tape heads that apply, wipe and cut pressure-sensitive tape. Uniform machines are set by hand-wheel for one size at a time; random machines sense each case and adjust width and height automatically. Erectors pick a blank from the magazine with vacuum cups, square it, fold the bottom flaps and seal them with tape or hot melt.

Questions

Uniform or random case sealer?
Choose uniform for batch production of one size at a time. Choose random where mixed sizes arrive in any order, as in e-commerce fulfilment.
Tape or hot melt?
Tape is simple and flexible. Hot melt costs less per case at high volume and gives a tamper-evident, recyclable closure.
Side-belt or top-and-bottom drive?
Side belts suit most stable cases. Top-and-bottom belts grip tall, narrow or heavy cases more securely.
