50 W High-Speed Fiber Laser Coder – 50W fiber laser marking machine
Overview

50W Fiber Laser Marking Machine

The 50 W High-Speed Fiber Laser Coder (FL-50) is a 50W fiber laser marking machine for can ends, cable, steel pipe and high-speed metal packaging.

The FL-50 is built for lines where products pass in a blur. High peak power and a fast digital scan head mark crisp characters on can ends, extruded cable and pipe at full production speed.

How it works

A ytterbium-doped fiber source generates the beam, a pair of galvanometer mirrors steers it across the marking field, and an F-theta lens keeps the spot in focus over the whole area. On moving lines an encoder tracks product speed so the code stays undistorted. MOPA sources add adjustable pulse width, which is what makes black marking on anodised aluminium and colour marking on stainless steel possible.

Process sequence

Detect

A photo-eye or PLC signal tells the controller a part has arrived.

Track

The encoder reports line speed so the scan head can follow the moving surface.

Mark

Galvo mirrors steer the pulsed beam to draw text, logos, 1D and 2D codes.

Extract

Fume extraction removes particulates at the marking point.

Verify

An optional camera reads the code back and rejects any failure.

FAQ

Questions about the FL-50

What is the 50 W High-Speed Fiber Laser Coder used for?
For can lines, cable extrusion and other high-throughput marking. It is a 50W fiber laser marking machine typically used for can ends, cable, steel pipe and high-speed metal packaging.
What is the price of the 50 W High-Speed Fiber Laser Coder in India?
The price of the FL-50 depends on laser power (20, 30 or 50 W, or a MOPA source), marking field and lens and enclosure, rotary axis and automation. Send your product details and line speed, and Engravics will reply with a quotation.
What is the average power of the 50 W High-Speed Fiber Laser Coder?
Average power: 50 W. This is the typical configuration of the FL-50; the final value is confirmed in your quotation.
What is the wavelength of the 50 W High-Speed Fiber Laser Coder?
Wavelength: 1064 nm. This is the typical configuration of the FL-50; the final value is confirmed in your quotation.
What is the marking field of the 50 W High-Speed Fiber Laser Coder?
Marking field: 110 × 110 mm (optional 300 × 300 mm). This is the typical configuration of the FL-50; the final value is confirmed in your quotation.
Do you supply and install the FL-50 across India?
Yes. Engravics is a Motionworks Robotics brand based in Gurugram, Delhi NCR, and supplies customers across India. Installation, commissioning and operator training are offered with every machine.
Which materials suit a fiber laser?
Stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, titanium, coated metals and many plastics such as ABS, PA and PC. Clear glass, wood and plain paperboard are better served by CO2 or UV sources.
What is the difference between Q-switched and MOPA?
A Q-switched source has a fixed pulse width and suits most engraving and coding work. A MOPA source lets you tune pulse width and frequency, giving finer control over heat input for black anodised marks, colour marks and delicate plastics.
